You can even use finanz tools as an alternative navigation method for your entire website - as we have demonstrated here. Every article can contain links and images to external resources, so you can either reproduce your content within finanz tools, or just use it as a navigation mechanism to manage outbound links to existing web content.

Each item, which can represent products, jobs, music, or anything else, can feature a summary section and a detailed description. Both the summary and description can be HTML formatted. Items can also include clickable URLs which by default pop up an automatically generated page containing the item summary and description in a printable form.

Finanz tools are designed for maximum flexibility. For example:

• the item URL can be set directly to an external URL, or can default to generating a pop-up page of item content. The external URL can take users directly to any page of your websites, or anyone else's website, and is ideal for streaming leads into "buy now", "enquire" and other call to action functions.
  
  
• you can suppress the display of a detailed item description. In some cases, a summary alone may be sufficient, perhaps in categories used to provide simple facts such as telephone contact and location details for staff or departments.

• specify whether a table of attributes is to be included in the item description.
