We have often been asked to create new bespoke tools to coincide with a product launch. EnquiryThe initial use of finanz tools generally takes place in the enquiry stage of the sales process. Many banks offer these tools on customer facing websites for prospects to get a better understanding of the products they are considering before they talk to their bank or an adviser. Once they take that step, the tools prove to be very helpful for advisers to discuss product options and scenarios with their customers. With consumers increasingly turning to the Internet to find product information before they talk to sales representatives, the user-friendly and intuitive finanz tools allow consumers to immediately understand and compare financial products, greatly enhancing online service. This leads to better informed client meetings with customers who have a better understanding of the key features and benefits of the products on offer. Illustration and QuotationWe offer the facility to tune the calculation engines in all our finanz tools to accurately reflect how our clients' back-end systems perform those calculations, down to a pre-agreed level of accuracy. Our calculation engines allow us to perform calculations which are accurate enough to be used both for Illustration purposes (where the tolerance may be greater by design), as well as for Quotation purposes (where the calculations need to be very accurate, sometimes to the cent or penny), so that the correct and compliant values calculated by finanz tools can be used to populate letters of offer, and other specialized printed output which may be required by compliance regimes. We have developed a service and a methodology which makes the tuning of the calculations in our tools a routine part of many of our projects. Application and Ongoing ReviewApplication forms (online and offline) can seamlessly incorporate the data used by finanz tools or the simulations produced by finanz tools and by enabling advisers or customers to export the data from a finanz tools an advice session can immediately be turned into a sales result. |
